Esteban Beita, Ph.D.


Dr. Beita is the founder of WABI design. Throughout his education, he’s had the opportunity to study and work in different parts of the world, ranging from New York, Costa Rica, and Japan. This has given him a variety of skills in design, sustainable architecture, photography, architecture visualization, and Japanese design. While in Tokyo, he worked and interned for architects as Toyo Ito and Kengo Kuma, while at the same time conducted extensive research on traditional and contemporary Japanese architecture. This work has led to a detailed knowledge of the applications of Japanese design for improving urban spaces.  Dr. Beita is also an Assistant Professor of  architecture at the New York City College of Technology, where he teaches a variety of courses in design, visualization and building construction.
